I have not film tested this camera. I have checked the mechanics and appears to fire accurately. A battery would be needed to test the meter. In the worst-case scenario, should the meter not be working, there are a host of free cell phone apps that can be used for light metering. Having said all that, if the camera is to be used professionally, a service is always recommended for ultimate perfection.
